About Us

My Heart Is In was started by 3 people who really love our home state (O-H), and who wanted a way to send a piece of our favorite things to all of our friends and family near and far.  The idea caught on quickly, and soon other people wanted to be able to send a bit of their home to their friends and family.  Thus, My Heart Is In was born.  We use locals in every location to ensure each gift box is full of the best parts of your home and will bring a smile to your face.  As the saying goes, you can take the person out of (insert your state), but you can’t take the (insert your state) out of them.

 

We work hard to keep each gift box authentic, with handcrafted items and perennial local favorites.  Each gift box will include at least 5 hand-picked items that capture the spirit of your home and will be packaged up beautifully in our My Heart Is In branded box and customized for your state before being shipped off to you or whoever is lucky enough to know you.

 

We like to switch it up regularly to keep the items fresh and to support your local artists, artisans and entrepreneurs.  We try and ensure each gift box has a mix of adorable housewares, local only confections and foods, and fun state themed items.  Everything is packed with love in our signature box and topped off with a special letterpress, before being hand-tied with twine and a card.

We throw it all in a blank mailer to ensure greedy hands don’t get to the package before your giftee does, and to ensure it looks as pretty when they open it as when we sent it.
